I have been dining here for a little over 4 years now and the dishes that I’ve had have been delightful. My favorite starters are onion rings with a cup of chili. The best onion rings in OC. Make sure to pair it with the jalapeño ranch. I tend to get the Morning Cristo or pancakes. My wife’s favorite is the Mikes Tuna melt,French toast, and eggs Benedict. Many dishes to list over the years but those are our top. I just dined in yesterday morning and the price changes made recent will probably scare me off. Instead of dining in weekly I’ll be dining once a month. Everything has been up charged once again around $2, just this year. Our favorite dishes from the start have gone up more than $6 dollars since then. The least expensive dish are the build your own omelette at $13 which is just the egg, $1.20 for each vegetable , cheese $2.25, meats are $3 which is actually a $20 omelette and up. At $15 you can get a French toast by itself, or you can add blueberries or bananas for $2 each. Having said that, dishes start at $20 per person. It’s understanding the way the economy is going but the fact that portions are smaller for more money is insane. Usually the portions were decent sized, presentable how they should be but not anymore. It is possible different cooks different portions, but the original Chef has to be present because the flavor profile is still there with every dish. I will finish off by saying that the food is flavorful and does deserve 5 Stars. The rest of the negatives are do to drastic price increases and smaller noticeable portions to usual customers.

First things first. They don't have bathrooms for the public. They ask you, a paying customer, to use the park bathroom. The adjacent park bathroom does not have: 1. Hot water 2. Soap When brought to the attention of the staff, they said we can utilize the hand sanitizer at the table... Thanks. The food and experience: Came here with friends who had previously experienced the park bench. They had good things to say for a breakfast spot with a view and seating al fresco. I had the brisket Benedict. Let me say this was not that great. 23 dollars for dry brisket on English muffins tougher that a catcher's mitt. Luke warm temperature by the time it made it to the table. The side fries with onions and cheese were the best part of the meal. I do not recommend the brisket. You will be sore the next day sawing through that muffin with a butter knife. Friends had epic pancakes here in the same outing. That's the take away here. Some things work, others don't. Staff is nice. Bathroom game is horrible.

Such a fun spot for some good food! Very nice area in the park with lots of shady spaces available. We came around 12 and were told it’d be a 40-45m wait for 2 of us, it old ended up being 20-30m or so and there’s a nice, short, paved path around the park you can walk around and lots of benches you can sit at while you wait if you want too 🙂 The Country Fried Steak was average I would say, nothing super special. The Chocolate Chip Pancakes and Cinnamon Roll pancakes were AMAZING however. I didn’t think they’d charge $13 for a “short stack” side of pancakes though. We really liked the Morning Cristo with the Raspberry Jam was really delicious too. The Cheesy Home Fries didn’t really taste great to me, kind of chemically.. but my husband liked them. The Fresh Fruit Bowl was also delightful! I thought $5.50 was a very fair price for the amount of fruit they give you!! Our pup also loved his chicken and appreciated the ice water they provide for pups 🤗 Fun to have a nice place outside, with good food, good service, and loves our fur babes! We did feel it was a little expensive for the quality -$82 for 2 of us and a dog ($13 for a Short Stack, $20 for Morning Cristo, $19 for a Country Fried Steak + $3-4 extra for the “specialty” pancakes, $5 for Dog’s Chicken, $6 for a Latte, and $5 for an Iced Tea). I would also love to see them switch to more eco-friendly to-go products (condiment cups, silverware, plastic bags, straws, aluminum to-go containers, etc). Parking was also a bit full, we had to wait for 5-10min to get a spot, but it was 1200 on a Sunday. Just something to note!

Situated at the edge of a delightful park with outdoor seating all around, perfect for a sunny day. Great customer service. Small parking lot, but easy enough to find parking in the neighborhood across the main street. Arrived around 8:30A on a Saturday, and there was only about a 10-minute wait. We ordered the salmon Benedict, corned beef hash Benedict, morning Cristo and cinnamon bun pancakes. The pancakes were delicious, get them! Fluffy but with some edge crunch, you won't be disappointed. Also, if you opt for a Benedict, the corned beef hash one was the winner between the two. Will be back!

Lovely place! The food is delicious 😋 highly recommend the potatoes they are crispy and serviced with cheese. The food is super filling and the atmosphere is very open and breezy. We walked our dog after eating and it was such a nice experience!
